The CA4047-8-8 is high performance switch matrix housed in a compact 1U chassis. Robust construction with integrated, machined aluminium heatsink, and EMC screened chassis.

Low Noise Figure

Low noise figure maximises system sensitivity for reception of low-amplitude signals. Distributed gain topology ensures low noise figure and high linearity.

Wideband & Reliable

Ideally suited to modern wideband receiver systems. Forced-air cooled for reliable operation in high temperature conditions.

Powerful Built In Test

The CA4047-8-8 has as standard, comprehensive real-time Built In Test (BITE). The CA4047-8-8 is continuously monitored with non-intrusive measurement circuitry. Remote monitoring is enabled over an Ethernet connection. Historical trend analysis of BITE data highlights service requirement ahead of failure, enhancing long-term reliability. The switch matrix will indicate on the green / red status light if any parameters are exceeding threshold limits. The BITE measurement circuitry will automatically initiate shut down of the switch matrix if temperature, current or voltage limits are exceeded.

RF power measurement at the input helps provide early warning of cable or antenna faults, and rapid fault-finding.
