Software Engineer - Cheltenham

To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a software engineer to enhance the company's design capabilities. The role is within the development team for the company's radio monitoring software, SPECTRA. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the product at all levels. This is an exciting opportunity to work with new technologies, develop new skills, and work on new and demanding problems.

We have ambitious plans for the future of SPECTRA. Now is an ideal time to join the team to make your mark on the direction that the product takes.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree or better in an engineering or numerical science discipline. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in C++ development and object oriented design. Experience of any of the following is desirable but not required: development on Linux, cross platform development, version control systems (e.g. Subversion), DSP, audio processing, databases, Qt.

RF Test Engineer - Cheltenham

To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a motivated, experienced Test Engineer to enhance our current RF test capabilities. The role is within the Test/Production team for the company’s radio monitoring equipment, SPECTRA. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to other areas within production when required.

The ideal candidate should hold an appropriate professional qualification in Electronic Engineering and have demonstrable experience in the following key areas:

  • RF system, sub-system and component verification and formal acceptance testing using state-of-the-art vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
  • Preparation and maintenance of formal test plans, procedures, reports and final assembly/test route cards
  • RF filter tuning
  • Analogue and digital circuit fault-finding
  • Electronic PCB assembly to IPC-610
  • Cable assembly to IPC-620

This is an opportunity to become a key member of a dynamic team that are creating new and exciting products for use by defence and spectrum regulatory authorities.
