N-Channel DF
Utilising the core technologies of our world beating CA7708 High Frequency Receiver the N-Channel Direction Finding System provides Super Resolution Direction Finding using proprietary enhanced sub-space based engineering. The high performance Phase Coherent multi-channel independent tuner solution provides wide and narrow bandwidth coverage within the frequency range from 2MHz to 30MHz.
The CommsAudit N-Channel DF System has an Adaptable Array Manifold, thus easing the likely space constraints under tactical conditions.
The system utilises Phase Coherent N-Channel tuner operation with low phase noise, thus minimising the LOB errors to approximately >2 degrees RMS dependant on frequency
Combined with the Blind Signal Separation and the extensive demodulation capabilities of the CA7708 HF Receiver the N-Channel DF System will provide the user with an intimate knowledge of the local RF spectrum.
The N-Channel DF system is capable of operating in a hostile high signal RF environment and provides superior performance with its excellent spurious free dynamic range (SFDR), in particular when compared with a wideband tuner approach.
Each system has eight independent tuners, which can be independently tuned or phase-locked to provide the N-Channel DF capability. Any number of tuners can be brought into the N-Channel DF loop whilst leaving the remaining tuners to scan or sit on Signals of Interest.
The N-Channel DF System has been engineered to allow for future proofing and changes, such as including the implementation of the VITA-49 standard, when ratified. The design is approved to MIL-STD-461E & MIL-STD-462 standards. CommsAudit is also providing, as an option, GIST a comprehensive software suit of control and operational applications.
