Graduate Embedded Software Engineer

Communications Audit UK Limited is a market leader in the design and manufacture of state of the art radio and data communications systems based in the Cheltenham area. Products include: HF, VHF, and UHF Receivers, Multicouplers and Switching RF Matrices.

To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a graduate engineer to enhance the company's capabilities in embedded software design. The role will involve maintenance of existing CommsAudit software in addition to development of new capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree or better in an engineering or numerical science discipline.

Experience of any of the following is desirable, but not essential: C++ in an embedded environment, device drivers, embedded Linux, RTOS, ARM assembly, VHDL, FPGA's, version control systems (e.g. SVN), object orientated design.

The successful candidate will be joining a growing team of engineers working closely together to deliver innovative solutions in response to challenging customer requirements.​

Software Engineer

To support our continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced engineer to enhance the company's capabilities in software design, particularly in the area of Graphical User Interface (GUI) development. The role is an exciting opportunity to join the development team for the company's GIST radio monitoring software.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree or better in an engineering or numerical science discipline with proven experience in design and implementation of Graphical User Interfaces using C++, preferably with Qt. While GUI development will be an important aspect of this position, it will also involve contributing at all levels to the software product.

Experience of any of the following is desirable: object orientated design, development on Linux, development on Windows, version control systems (e.g. SVN), DSP, audio processing, databases.
