Multicouplers in an RF distribution system perform the essential task of producing multiple copies of an input RF signal with as little degradation or alteration as possible.
CommsAudit multicouplers are very high performance RF receive multicouplers covering from VLF through to UHF and beyond. Our multicouplers range from a single input with 2 outputs through to complex systems with 56 inputs and 896 outputs (16 outputs per input).
Each multicoupler in the series uses the same solid-state technology, with high intercept point (IIP2 and IIP3) and low Noise Figure, as used in our Mast-Head amplifiers and RF Switches, to deliver outstanding dynamic range with modest power consumption.
Additional features, such as RF band filtering, 'phantom' power' feed for mast-head amplifiers or active antennas, and lightning / EMP protection can be added to CommsAudit’s Multicouplers as required.
As with all CommsAudit equipment, Built-In TEst (BITE) features to indicate input and output RF power levels, unit temperature and DC supply health, can be included, as required.
